About IAPB
The International Association for Plant Biotechnology (IAPB), formerly the International Association of Plant Tissue Culture and Biotechnology, was founded in 1963 and has over 2,000 members in more than 85 countries.
It is the largest, oldest, and most comprehensive international professional organization in the field of plant biotechnology. 
IAPB promotes research in all aspects of biotechnology through its publications and scientific conferences.
The IAPB publishes the 'In Vitro Development and Cellular Biology - Plant' journal which covers a wide range of topics including; transformation development biology, functional genomics, molecular farming, plant physiology, cell biology, secondary metabolism etc.
Association Conferences
The 2008 IAPB Canadian Section Conference took place in Saskatoon in 2008.
The 12th IAPB International Conference will be held in St. Louis in 2010.
